Street Fighter 6 Rule Book
1. Eligibility & Registration
- Only current students of the college are eligible to participate.
- A valid college ID card must be presented at registration.
- Registrations are individual only (no teams).
- Each player will be assigned a tournament account/ID. Personal PlayStation IDs are not permitted.
2. Game Title & Platform
- Game: Street Fighter 6
- Platform: PlayStation 5 (PS5)
- Mode: Versus Mode – Offline
3. Tournament Format
- College Level: Single Elimination (Knockout) until Semi-Finals.
- Semi-Finals & Finals: Best of 3 (Bo3) matches, applicable in both College and Zonal Qualifiers.
- Grand Finals: Round Robin format (all Bo3).
- Character Rule (Semi-Finals & Finals): Each player must use three different characters across the series.
- Example: If Player A wins Match 1 with Character X, they cannot use Character X again in Matches 2 or 3.
4. Character & Settings Rules
- All default characters and DLC characters are permitted.
- Custom character modifications are not allowed.
- Costumes, colors, and titles must remain on default settings.
- Stage selection will be randomized (default setting).
5. Official Game Settings (Capcom Pro Tour Standards)
- Rounds: Best of 3 rounds (first to 2 rounds = 1 match).
- Match Time: 99 seconds.
- Match Format: Best of 3 (Bo3) until Semi-Finals, Best of 5 (Bo5) in Finals (optional).
- Speed: Normal.
- Controls: Default button mapping only.
- Pause Function: Disabled, except for tournament staff-approved technical pauses.
6. Conduct & Fair Play
- Players must report to their assigned station within 5 minutes of match call.
- Cheating, intentional disconnection, or misconduct will result in disqualification.
- The decision of the tournament organizers will be final and binding.
- Multiple Game Qualification: If a player qualifies for the Semi-Finals of both FIFA 25 and Street Fighter, they must choose one title to continue in. The vacated slot will be awarded to the next eligible player.
7. Equipment
- All tournament setups, including PS5 consoles, monitors, and controllers, will be provided by the organizers.
- Personal controllers are not permitted. Players must compete using official tournament equipment.
