FC 25 Rule Book
1. Eligibility
- Only college students are allowed to register.
- A valid college ID card must be presented at the time of registration.
- Registration is individual (1 player per entry).
2. Tournament Format
- Single Elimination in college Finals until the Semi-Finals.
- From Semi-Finals & Finals → Best of 3 (BO3) matches will be played.
- For the Zonal Qualifier, Top 8 players will play in the Double Elimination format.
- In Grand Finals, the players will compete in the Round Robin format.
- Organizers will provide the final schedule & bracket after registrations close.
3. Match Format
- Platform: PlayStation 5 (PS5)
- Game: FIFA 25
- Match Duration:
- Half Time: 3 minutes
- Full Match: 6 minutes (2 x 3 mins)
- Teams Allowed: Only Club Teams are permitted. National/International Teams are NOT allowed.
4. Game Settings
- Difficulty Level: World Class
- Match Type: Kick-Off
- Camera Angle: Tele Broadcast (Default, no change allowed)
- Injuries: On
- Handball: Off
- Time/Score Display: On
- Substitutions: 3 per match (as per FIFA rules)
- Extra Time: No (except in finals if required)
- Penalty Shootout: Yes, in case of a tie
5. Tournament Rules
- Controllers: Players must use the controllers provided by the organizers. Personal controllers are NOT allowed.
- Login Restrictions: Players are not allowed to log in with their personal FIFA/PSN IDs. Only guest/local profiles will be used.
- Fair Play: Any attempt to exploit glitches, bugs, or unfair gameplay will lead to immediate disqualification.
- Pausing the Game: Pauses allowed only when the ball is out of play. Excessive or unnecessary pausing will result in a warning or penalty.
- Tie Matches:
- Group/Elimination Rounds: Direct penalty shootout after full-time.
- Semi-Finals & Finals (BO3): Penalty shootout in each game if tied.
- Multiple Game Qualification: If a player qualifies for the Semi-Finals of both FIFA 25 and Street Fighter, they must choose one game to continue in. The other spot will be given to the next best-placed player.
6. Conduct & Penalties
- Unsportsmanlike behavior (abuse, aggressive conduct, disrespect to opponent/organizers) will lead to disqualification.
- Late Arrival: Players must report 10 minutes before their match. Failure to appear will result in a walkover for the opponent.
- Cheating/Modding: Strictly prohibited. Any evidence of cheating will result in a lifetime ban from future tournaments.
7. General Guidelines
- Players must follow all instructions given by the event organizers.
- The decision of the referee/organizers is final and binding.
- Players are encouraged to maintain discipline and sportsmanship throughout the event.
- The tournament rules are subject to change by the organizer as per the situation.
